Useful information about Cape Verde

The Republic of Cape Verde is a volcanic archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, approximately 500 km off the coast of Senegal. The 10 Cape Verdean islands are geographically divided into two groups:

  1. the Windward islands to the north (Santo Antao, Sao Vicente, Santa Luzia, Sao Nicolau, Sal, and Boa Vista), characterized by a more arid climate;
  2. the Leeward islands (Maio, Santiago, Fogo, Brava) to the south, slightly more rainy.

A handful of islands scattered in the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Senegal, with turquoise waters and stretches of golden sand. These are the Cape Verde Islands, emerged from the depths of the ocean millions of years ago, giving rise to a paradise for sea lovers, sun worshippers, water sports enthusiasts, and relaxation seekers.
